The second batch of records in a legal case linked to Jeffrey Epstein was made public on Thursday, further unveiling the identities of individuals connected to the notorious sex trafficker and socialite.

This latest release comprised fewer documents compared to Wednesday’s unveiling, containing approximately 19 documents totaling over 300 pages. Primarily composed of legal discussions and depositions, the content focused on a civil suit that had been previously resolved against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former associate and girlfriend.

The Thursday release did not include many new names to be unsealed, much like the first batch of documents Wednesday. In total, the documents are expected to include about 200 names that were previously unknown.

Being mentioned in the lawsuit doesn’t imply any wrongdoing on the part of the individuals; it simply signifies their association with Epstein or Maxwell at some point. a legal case

A significant portion of the names revealed in Wednesday’s documents had already been publicly disclosed or reported in previous cases, such as Maxwell’s criminal trial in 2022.

These documents are linked to a 2015 civil lawsuit initiated by one of the victims seeking damages against Maxwell. Although the case was settled in 2017, the plaintiff fought for years to have the documents unredacted and made accessible to the public.

Epstein passed away in a Manhattan jail in 2019, while Maxwell remains in prison, having received a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking in 2022.
