The statement highlights that there were seventy-six combat engagements on the front over the past day.
In the Kherson region, specifically on the left bank of the Dnipro River, Russian occupiers are reportedly persisting in their attempts to displace Ukrainian forces from established bridgeheads. According to the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, the enemy conducted 12 unsuccessful assault actions. Ukrainian forces offered a robust resistance, causing substantial losses to the attackers. The report emphasizes that Ukrainian units are steadfastly maintaining their defensive positions, retaining recaptured territories, and effectively inflicting damage on the opposing forces.
Ukraine’s Air Force conducted strikes on four Russian clusters comprising personnel, ammunition, and military equipment. Ukrainian missile units targeted four enemy clusters, two ammunition depots, and three surface-to-air missile systems. In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled six enemy attacks near Kharkiv region’s Synkivka, thwarting Russian attempts to breach defense lines. Approximately 10 settlements faced enemy artillery and mortar strikes.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces resisted 24 enemy attacks near Luhansk region’s Serebrianske forestry, Bilohorivka, and Donetsk region’s Vesele. Supported by aircraft, Russians attempted to breach Ukraine’s defense lines, affecting over 10 settlements with artillery and mortar strikes.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks near Donetsk region’s Bohdanivka, resulting in about 10 settlements experiencing Russian artillery and mortar strikes.
In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian forces successfully fended off 20 enemy attacks to the east of Donetsk region’s Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka, along with 12 additional attacks near Nevelske and Pervomaiske. Russian attempts to breach Ukraine’s defense lines were unsuccessful, and about 10 settlements suffered from Russian artillery and mortar strikes.
