On Sunday, Florida law enforcement issued an arrest warrant for Albert J. Shell Jr., following allegations of a fatal shooting at a mall in Ocala, located in Central Florida.

After the incident, the suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot, abandoning the firearm used in the crime, as disclosed by Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken during a press briefing.
The shooting occurred in a “common area” of the Paddock Mall at about 3:40 p.m. local time on Saturday, Balken said. A man identified as 40-year-old David Nathaniel Barron was killed and a woman suffered a gunshot injury to the leg. Investigators said they believe Barron was targeted.
During the mall shooting, several individuals sustained injuries, as reported by the police. Among the victims, one person complained of chest pain, while another suffered a broken arm.
Law enforcement officials specified that the assailant was identified by the distinctive red hat he was wearing. By Sunday afternoon, it was disclosed that someone had removed the hat from the scene. Ocala police emphasized the importance of the hat as a potential source of valuable DNA evidence, urging the individual in possession of it to come forward promptly.
They stressed the urgency of the situation, stating, “We urge you to do the right thing and come forward immediately. Time is of the essence.” Florida law enforcement
