The grand rally in Khulna, where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to address the crowd, has commenced. The event kicked off with a recitation from the holy Quran around 11:50 am. The Khulna Circuit House ground is filled with thousands of people eager to witness and hear from the prime minister.
The city roads have been notably less crowded since morning, and law enforcement agencies are visible both on the rally ground and in the vicinity, ensuring security for the event. Currently, local Awami League leaders and affiliated organizations are delivering speeches at the rally.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Khulna by helicopter at 12:45pm. She landed at the helipad built at the district stadium.
As per information from the district administration, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to convene a meeting with divisional level officials at the Circuit House from 1 pm to 2 pm. Crowds have started gathering around the rally in Khulna since Monday (13 November) morning. Local leaders of Awami League said about 10 lakh people from the districts around Khulna will join the rally.
