This remarkable achievement has led to the skill being officially designated as the “Biles II” in recognition of the incredible accomplishments of the 19-time world champion. And adding yet another element bearing her name, now totaling five in her illustrious gymnastics career.

Following her qualifying performance, she achieved an impressive all-around score of 58.865, securing her position as the leader at the conclusion of her session. This places her in a commanding position to advance to all four individual finals. And the prestigious all-around final scheduled later in the week.
After the qualifying round, the 26-year-old athlete currently holds the top position in three apparatus events: floor. So, vault, and balance beam. She stands in second place on the uneven bars, trailing behind her teammate Shilese Jones.
The United States as a team achieved an impressive qualifying score of 171.395. While most other teams are yet to complete their own qualifying rounds. And it appears highly likely that the American team will secure a spot in the team final. Their score surpasses the 167.263 that allowed them to qualify in first place last year.
This competition marks Simone Biles’ return to the world stage after her absence from the Tokyo 2020 Games. So, where she withdrew from multiple events due to the “twisties,” .
