Bryan Tanaka has opened up about his breakup with Mariah Carey, sharing a detailed statement on social media regarding their split. In the Instagram message posted on Tuesday (Dec. 26), the 40-year-old backup dancer describes the separation as a “mutual” decision.

Mariah Carey, 54, and Bryan Tanaka began working together in 2006 during Tanaka’s appearance as a member of Carey’s Adventures of Mimi tour.
