A Texas couple

A Texas couple has made National Gingerbread House Day extra special this year by creating a cookie model of one of their favorite places: Buc-ee’s.

Deanna and Paul Vaters of Georgetown, located approximately 30 miles south of Austin, have crafted a gingerbread replica of the Buc-ee’s, situated about an hour away from their home in Bastrop. Deanna Vaters shared that Buc-ee’s is a place they always stop at to kickstart their vacation, according to a local government video posted on Tuesday. A Texas couple

The gingerbread version of the Bastrop Buc-ee’s includes intricate details, featuring miniature cars, electric charging stations, gas pumps, and printed photographs of Deanna Vaters’ coworkers in various poses around the store. The project reflects a creative and festive way to celebrate a local favorite.

“We purchased all the vehicles, got all the candy, and tried to make it happen,” shared Deanna Vaters in the video. The gingerbread village not only features miniature vehicles but also depicts individuals engaging in various activities. Scenes include changing a tire, charging a Tesla at electric stations, and even providing the family dog with an opportunity to stretch its legs and go to the bathroom. The attention to detail adds an extra layer of charm to the creative and festive gingerbread creation.
