Pro Palestinian protestors rallied in Los Angeles on Black Friday, multiple outlets reported.

This protest is part of the international “Shut it Down for Palestine” initiative organized by pro-Palestinian groups, particularly calling for action on Black Friday. According to CBS, the initiative urges various segments of society, including movements, organized labor, youth, students, media, healthcare workers, and the general public, to unite in demanding an immediate ceasefire, cutting all aid to Israel, and lifting the siege on Gaza. The call to action commenced on November 9, with plans for continued momentum through ongoing days of action, emphasizing a disruption of regular activities until “Palestine is Free.” Meanwhile, Hamas initiated the release of hostages on the first day of a four-day truce, aiming to free 50 hostages taken during its October 7 attack on Israel. This attack triggered an ongoing conflict that has persisted for nearly two months between Israel and Hamas.
