This captivating image , captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, offers a glimpse of the Veil Nebula, also known as the Cygnus Loop. The creation of this vibrant image involved observations conducted with Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3 instrument, utilizing five distinct filters to capture the data. Subsequent post-processing techniques were applied to accentuate the intricate details of emissions from doubly ionized oxygen, represented in shades of blue, as well as ionized hydrogen and ionized nitrogen, showcased in various shades of red.
