The Raanans were transferred from Gaza to Israel by the International Committee of the Red Cross, according to a statement from the organization. President Biden had a phone conversation with the two former hostages on Friday afternoon. He conveyed his assurance that the U.S. government will provide complete support as they go through the process of recovery and healing. Mr. Biden shared this message in a tweet, along with a photo of their call, stating, “I let them know that their government will fully support them as they recover and heal. Jill and I will continue holding close in our hearts all the families of unaccounted for Americans.”
