the Pahlavi dynasty

Since the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty in 1979, Iran has engaged in a risky strategy of kinetic brinkmanship with the United States. The Iran hostage crisis marked the beginning, where 52 American diplomats were held captive in Tehran for 444 days. Over time, this approach has extended to supporting groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and other militias and terrorist organizations backed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including the Houthis in Yemen.

At the core of Iran’s confrontation with Washington lies its persistent pursuit of nuclear weapons over the decades. This overarching goal is rapidly approaching fruition, with Tehran’s path to nuclear breakout now measured in days rather than weeks. The decision ultimately rests with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who holds the power to bring Iran closer to this significant milestone.

On Oct. 7, Iran went too far. IRGC support and planning of Hamas’s heinous attack on Israeli civilians has now engulfed the Gaza Strip in total war. On Tuesday, elements of that war spread to Lebanon when Israel carried out the strike that purportedly killed Saleh al-Arouri, a senior Hamas official.

Almost 1,200 Israelis lost their lives, and Iranian-backed militias attacked U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria 118 times. Iran, led by Khamenei, is involved in a proxy war with the U.S., and this conflict seems to deepen as Tehran aligns more with Moscow in light of Vladimir Putin’s struggles in Ukraine.

Iran’s day of reckoning appears to be approaching. Israel’s targeting of al-Arouri in Lebanon, following his escape from Gaza, serves as a kinetic warning to Khamenei and Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah.

In response to Nasrallah’s warning last August, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war cabinet have acted decisively. the Pahlavi dynasty

The newly operational unit, Nili, meaning “The Eternity of Israel Will Not Lie” in Hebrew, makes it clear that those involved in the October 7 attacks on Israel, including top Hamas figures and their sponsors, will not find safety anywhere.
