Andre Braugher, the dynamic actor renowned for his exceptional performances in acclaimed shows such as “Homicide: Life on the Street” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” has passed away at the age of 61.
His longtime representative, Jennifer Allen, informed The Hollywood Reporter that Braugher succumbed to a brief illness on Monday.
Braugher gained widespread recognition for his role as the master interrogator Det. Frank Pembleton in NBC’s “Homicide: Life on the Street,” where he captivated audiences during the show’s acclaimed run from 1993 to 1999.
