The fourth Republican presidential primary debate concluded on Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The event featured four GOP candidates: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. This debate represented one of the final chances for these candidates to articulate their positions and appeal to voters before the upcoming Iowa caucuses scheduled for next month.

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner, again did not take part in the primetime debate, which was hosted by the cable news channel NewsNation and co-moderated by Megyn Kelly.

During Wednesday’s GOP debate, Vivek Ramaswamy accused Nikki Haley of leveraging identity politics for her campaign. Ramaswamy asserted that Haley had labeled him as having a “woman problem” when, in fact, he argued, the issue was her alleged corruption. Holding up a sign that read “NIKKI = CORRUPT,” Ramaswamy faced disapproval from the crowd. The fourth Republican

He continued by stating, “This is a woman who will send your kids to die so she can buy a bigger house. … Having two X chromosomes does not immunize you from criticism.”

In response, Nikki Haley dismissed the accusations, stating, “It’s not worth my time to respond to him,” addressing the moderators and moving on from the exchange.
