Maybe Taylor Swift is Travis Kelce‘s lucky charm after all. The Denver Broncos defeated Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs 24-9 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on Sunday, snapping the longest active win streak against a single team in the NFL.
Swift was conspicuously absent during the Chiefs’ away game against the Broncos, despite various reports indicating her absence. The global superstar is currently on a break but is scheduled to kick off her Eras Tour once again on November 9th in Argentina. The Denver Broncos
Speculation and anticipation had surrounded whether Swift would be in attendance to support Kelce ever since their rumored relationship began during the 2023 NFL season. Swift had been present at four previous Kansas City games, all of which had ended in victories for the team. Her most recent appearance was just the prior week when the Chiefs secured a win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Kelce wasn’t able to keep up his big season without Swift in the crowd. The tight end has noticeably had better stats when the pop star’s been in-person to watch the game. Against the Chargers, Kelce had a dominant game with 12 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown, and even Kelce has learned about his uptick in performance with Swift there.
