The Oryx Hotel holds a unique position as the sole accommodation option within the airport itself, rendering it a logical choice for travelers with shorter layovers, as transit stays within the airport must adhere to a 24-hour limit by law. Furthermore, alternative ways exist to savor the Oryx experience even without reserving a room.

For a fee of 175 riyals ($48) per person (prices confirmed as of May 2023), travelers can gain access to the Oryx’s “vitality center” for up to four hours. This wellness-focused space, located on a floor above the guest rooms, boasts a range of amenities, including a squash court, a golf simulator, a spa, hydrotherapy pools, hot tubs, and a refreshing swimming pool.
