In the United States, the Blue Ribbon Schools Program is a federal recognition program  that honors public and  private K-12 schools that demonstrate high academic achievement or significant, improvement. These schools often  referred to as “Blue Ribbon Schools.”

In Southern California across out of  33 schools named Blue Ribbon that by the U.S Department of Education. Out of 20 schools are San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles.

According to the Department, this schools choice based on their improvement in ending. And Achievement space and overall academic performance to their outstanding.

Total three hundred and fifty three schools receive the nationwide award. In between, In Los Angeles Twelve schools received the recognition . Also, In Orange County’s Six schools awarded and In San Diego’s Two schools honored.
